Season: Autumn
December 2009 - Cooling down.
Conditions: With an average around 50 degrees, the winter cold is really setting in. Watch out for black ice and and snow drifts and make sure to crack the surface of any frozen water troughs you walk by. Just be sure to stay out of the rain, keep your horses dry, and to get into the holiday spirit, and winter will zoom right by.
Rules We all hate rules, but they're mandatory in any role play. So just read them, follow them, and treat them like your bible! Just kidding about the last part. Hehe.

Practice Track This quarter mile track used to always be completely booked with morning work outs and practice races. But currently, it's eerily quiet with deLeon Ways' backing out of the racing industry. Do you dare to give this quiet place a purpose again?

The Main House This large, Victorian style home is where the owners of deLeon Ways live. If an employee stays on the site for more than several days it has plenty of guest rooms to be spared. Standing three stories tall, strong structure may very well be the biggest thing on the property. Making it the perfect place for celebrations.

Main Office The office is located to the right of the tack room. Inside the office you can find two desks pushed against the walls with computers and piles of bills. It has glass cabinets full of trophies, plaques, pictures and paintings of past races won, lounge chairs, a coffee maker, a mini-fridge, and a heated bathroom.

Barns (3 sub-boards) There are three barns. One for mares and foals, one for the racers in training (Or rather horses in training, period.), and one for stallions. All the boarded geldings and mares are kept in the mare and foal barn.
Tack Room There are tens which seem like hundreds of saddle racks, bridle hooks, and plenty of room to sit back and soak up on the heat during the winter or the air condition during the summer. Yes, there is even a station to sit down and soap your saddle!

Paddocks/Turn-Outs There are white-fenced turn-outs, each at least three acres and full of pleasant, lush, green grass. Horses are turned out in two's or threes, depending on their behavoir and gender. Geldings are turned out separate than mares, mares are turned out separate than stallions unless in breeding. There is a large shed located in the middle of each paddock for rainy weather. Boarders and workers have access to the paddocks to turn out and retrieve their horses.

Round Pen There is one and only one round-pen located on deLeon Ways. It is a large, circular arena, but small enough to keep a horse under control. The round pen can only be used one horse at a time with one to two individual humans inside. Round-pens are used for training purposes only.
Candy Bar The Candy Bar (pun intended) is the hottest bar in the whole town everyone who's anyone goes there on a Friday night and if you're not there then you better have a pretty damn good reason! Awesome music and drinks all night long.

Landslide Plaza Landslide Plaza isn't what you may think it is and is actually a huge mall. Four stories tall, it has more clothing stores then you could ever think of imagining, not to mention a whole floor just dedicated to different food stands, restaurants and more!! If you're planning a trip somewhere else, in dire need of a new wardrobe to go with all the latest fashions, or just want to go and hang out with friends, Landslide Plaza is the place you should be at!

Landslide Theater The movie theater at Landslide Plaza, a place with tons of screens showing all the latest hits to make the big screen. There's even a few theaters where they show some of your favorite movies in 3D. So if you're in the area, come on down and watch an awesome movie!!!

Mick's Concert Hall Do you have an awesome band? Are they still in the shadows, come on down to the concert hall and sign up for a gig one Saturday or Sunday night. Every week, two different bands play!!! Some weeks, we might even have Fall Out Boy, Rascal Flatts, Soulja Boy and anybody else!!! Highgate Zoo It's like a jungle at the Highgate Zoo...pun intended. At this 200 acre stretch of land, you can find everything from the smallest butterfly to the biggest elephant, right in front of you, close enough to lay your hand on.
